EMKAN Holding has designated 2024 as its base year for a consolidated greenhouse gas inventory, adopting the Financial Control approach across its core subsidiaries.

For the full calendar year 2024, the organization reported total consolidated emissions of 96,945.97 tCO₂e, with Scope 1 direct emissions serving as the dominant contributor at 47,323.14 tCO₂e due to fuel-intensive logistics and manufacturing activities. The Group has established an emission intensity baseline of 145.5 tCO₂e per million SAR revenue, providing a metric to track future decarbonization progress through prioritized initiatives like fleet electrification and the transition to renewable electricity. The organization demonstrates a robust commitment to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), maintaining ISO 45001:2018 certification and reporting a zero Lost Time Injury Frequency (LTIF) in 2024 for key entities. EMKAN's social stewardship is further anchored by comprehensive labor policies managing over 3,615 employees, which cover the full employment lifecycle while emphasizing employee welfare, cybersecurity, and safety training.
